The weather was not on our side on Sunday, it rained and rained and soaked our very brave outside stallholders. We still managed to have about 1000 visitors through the doors, which was lovely.
Those that braved the elements to come and see us were treated to a range of baked goodies from the Scouts, the sweet sounds of the Acapella group and over 50 stallholders keen to show off their crafty goodies.
We had a stack of fab new stallholders who received a positive response from the crowd, and the regulars who knitted, crocheted and snipped as they chatted to their customers! A talented bunch indeed.
Exciting things are on the way for November and December. Its Christmas Gift season our lovely stallholders will be presenting you with loads of goodies for those special people in your lives. The market truly has something for everyone so if you are looking for something original come and pay us a visit. We have markets 1st and 15th November in the Community House and will be holding a market on the Windsor Reserve as part of the Devonport Christmas Festival on Sunday 6th December.
Thanks again to the stallholders for making the day a lot of fun and to the customers for braving it through the weather and supporting the Crafting and Devonport community.
All the best
Sarah and Sarah
