Market relaunch 12th April 2015

Devonport Craft Market is getting a tasty new look this April. After nearly 6 years of bringing locally handmade craft to Devonport once a month; visitors will now have the chance to buy locally grown and produced food as well.
“We’ve always been purely a handmade craft market.” says Sarah Thorne, Market Manager. “Now the market has matured, we’d like to provide a more rounded experience that will attract new visitors into Devonport and encourage them to stay and enjoy the village and all it has to offer.”
The new Fine Food section of the market has been carefully curated with this in mind. Customers will be able to browse a small selection of local, quality food vendors selling produce such as handmade cheese, bread, olive oil and locally harvested fruit, as well as to shop for unique handmade art and craft from direct from the makers.

The first Devonport Craft & Fine Food Market takes place on 12th April from 10am-2pm at Devonport Community House. There will be free face painting for children by Fairy Jane between 10.30am-1.30pm.

Free face painting at April 12th market.

We have booked our favourite face painter to join us at the next market. If the weather is fine, we'll have a kid's play area as well so you can have a sit down and enjoy a coffee and a treat in between browsing the wonderful craft and fine food stalls.

Market date change due to Easter

Easter Sunday falls on the first Sunday in April this year. For this reason, we've chosen to move the market to the following Sunday (12th April).
